Sonesis/AI Wednesdays
Sonesis/AI Wednesdays is part of the Building Organizational Capability with AI LinkedIn group activities. The LinkedIn group is for those looking for effective ways to use AI than just going faster.
Sonesis/AI Wednesdays is a free guided capability journey that is part of the Sonesis Capability Development System. It is designed to help people progressively strengthen their organizational improvement capability through live interaction, the Sonesis Capability Development System (ACDS), and ongoing use of Sonesis/AI. Instead of focusing on passive training or information transfer, the journey emphasizes guided interaction, real organizational situations, diagnostics, adaptive practices, and progressively developing the ability to perceive, diagnose, adapt, and improve effectively.
Participants engage in weekly live Wednesday sessions while using the ACS and Sonesis/AI between sessions to explore concepts, solve problems, deepen understanding, and apply ideas directly within real organizational situations. The focus is not merely on learning concepts, but on developing real capability through interaction, reflection, application, and continuous improvement.
Sessions are every Wednesday from 2-3:30pm Pacific
Who Sonesis/AI Wednesdays is for:
- people who want to learn about AI in general and Sonesis/AI in particular.
- a member of a team struggling with Agile or just wanting to get better.
- an internal transition agent who wants insights on how to help improve their organization
- anyone who wants to see how useful AI can be for creating capability in people
- someone who just wants to learn
Each session starts with using Sonesis/AI as a scientific peer, not merely a glorified answering machine.
To attend you must be a member of the free Sonesis Community of Practice which you can join here. Membership in the community gets you access to many past recordings and useful information as well. Each session begins with how to use Sonesis/AI to increase your capabilities, not merely ask it questions.

Sonesis/AI Wednesdays — A Free Guided Capability Journey
Develop real organizational improvement capability through guided interaction, real problems, and the Sonesis Capability System
For years, many organizational learning approaches have focused on training, certification, frameworks, and information transfer.
But real capability rarely develops primarily through exposure to information.
Capability develops through:
- interaction
- reflection
- guided application
- problem solving
- experimentation
- feedback
- and progressively learning to perceive situations differently.
Sonesis/AI Wednesdays was created around that belief.
This is not a traditional training program. It is not a webinar series. It is not a passive learning experience.
It is a free guided capability journey designed to help people progressively strengthen their ability to:
- improve organizations
- diagnose problems
- understand flow and systems
- develop capability in others
- improve product and organizational thinking
- navigate uncertainty
- and become more effective organizational improvers.
The journey combines:
- weekly live Wednesday sessions
- the Sonesis Capability Development System (SCDS)
- interaction-driven learning
- and ongoing guided interaction with Sonesis/AI.
What Makes This Different
Most organizational learning systems separate:
- learning from
- real work.
People attend training. Then they return to work. Then they attempt to apply concepts later.
But real capability development usually happens:
- during application
- while solving real problems
- while trying to diagnose situations
- during confusion
- during experimentation
- and while interacting with others.
Sonesis/AI Wednesdays is designed around that reality.
Instead of consuming large amounts of disconnected content, participants progressively develop capability through:
- small capability increments
- guided interaction
- reflection
- discussion
- diagnostics
- practical application
- and ongoing interaction with Sonesis/AI.
The goal is not merely to understand concepts intellectually.
The goal is to strengthen the ability to:
- perceive situations more clearly
- diagnose underlying causes
- improve systems effectively
- guide organizational improvement
- and develop capability in others.
The Role of the Sonesis Capability System (ACS)
The Sonesis Capability System provides the underlying capability-development structure.
Instead of organizing learning around rigid courses or framework adoption, the ACS is organized around:
- organizational capability areas
- recurring organizational challenges
- foundational dynamics
- adaptive practices
- and progressive capability development.
Participants can explore capability journeys related to:
- system dynamics
- perceptual dynamics
- learning dynamics
- diagnostics
- adaptive practices
- value flow architecture
- product management
- organizational improvement
- coaching
- navigating uncertainty
- and more.
Each capability journey is broken into smaller capability increments that can be explored progressively.
This allows participants to:
- move at their own pace
- revisit concepts over time
- deepen understanding incrementally
- and connect concepts directly to real organizational situations.
The Role of Sonesis/AI
Sonesis/AI is a central part of the experience.
Sonesis/AI is not primarily an information tool. It is an interaction-driven capability-development partner.
Participants can use Sonesis/AI to:
- explore concepts more deeply
- ask questions
- test understanding
- diagnose organizational problems
- role-play difficult conversations
- work through real situations
- connect ideas together
- and progressively strengthen distinctions and understanding.
People can ask Sonesis/AI to:
- explain concepts differently
- relate ideas to their own situation
- challenge assumptions
- guide them incrementally
- or simply help them solve a problem while capability develops through the interaction.
This means capability development no longer depends entirely on:
- waiting for the next workshop
- scheduling coaching sessions
- or trying to remember concepts later.
The interaction layer becomes continuously available.
Weekly Wednesday Sessions
The live Wednesday sessions provide:
- guidance
- reinforcement
- discussion
- reflection
- coaching
- clarification
- and shared exploration.
These sessions are designed to:
- help people connect concepts together
- deepen understanding
- discuss real organizational situations
- answer questions
- and reinforce capability development through interaction.
The sessions are intentionally interactive.
Participants are encouraged to:
- bring real problems
- discuss real organizational situations
- explore ideas collaboratively
- and continue capability development between sessions using the ACS and Sonesis/AI.
Who This Is For
Sonesis/AI Wednesdays is especially valuable for:
- organizational improvers
- coaches
- consultants
- managers
- product leaders
- Scrum Masters
- Agile practitioners
- transition agents
- team leads
- and anyone trying to improve organizations or help others improve.
At the same time, people do not need to become experts in Sonesis in order to benefit.
Some participants simply want help solving problems more effectively. Others want to deeply understand organizational systems, learning, coaching, diagnostics, and capability development.
The system supports both.
What Participants Develop
Over time, participants progressively strengthen their ability to:
- recognize systemic causes instead of reacting only to symptoms
- understand how flow and organizational structures affect outcomes
- perceive situations differently
- improve communication and alignment
- diagnose organizational challenges more effectively
- understand how people actually develop capability
- guide improvement more productively
- adapt practices to context
- and navigate uncertainty more effectively.
The emphasis is not on framework compliance.
The emphasis is on:
developing the capability to perceive, diagnose, adapt, collaborate, and improve effectively in real organizational situations.
Why This Is Free
One of the goals of Sonesis/AI Wednesdays is to make meaningful capability development broadly accessible.
Traditional organizational learning models often create barriers:
- expensive certifications
- expensive workshops
- rigid training paths
- disconnected learning experiences
- and dependence on external experts.
Sonesis/AI Wednesdays is designed differently.
It is intended to help people:
- progressively develop capability over time
- work on real problems
- interact continuously with the material
- and strengthen organizational improvement capability in a practical and sustainable way.
This Is Not About Consuming More Information
The goal is not merely to “learn more.”
The goal is to progressively develop the ability to:
- see more clearly
- diagnose more effectively
- help others improve
- adapt more intelligently
- and create meaningful organizational improvement.
Because ultimately: capability is not what people can repeat.
It is:
what they can perceive, understand, and do when reality becomes difficult.
