Why Tailoring Is Necessary

Participants are able to use all of the PowerPoints used in the program as well as public presentations, license free while in the ACE Learning Journey.

Every participant in the ACE program is different and has different needs. Personas are defined to make it easier to talk about these needs, but people are not pigeonholed into them.

Sessions are organized so that participants can choose how they want to learn and / or co-create.

The structure of the program

The ACE Program is designed to enable people to join at any time.

Specialized curriculum paths created for the common personas of the ACE participants are available. This enables people to accelerate what they learn if they have an immediate need to.

Creating Your Own Training Program

The ACE Learning Journey is not a “one and done” program. 

ACE is an ongoing program. It can be joined any time. And people can go at their own pace. Because that’s the reality of the workplace.

Each persona has its own on-boarding curriculum to allow for people to join at any time. 

The Core Curriculums

Foundations

This curriculum contains the mindset, principles, and guidance of Amplio. While it is recommended that everybody goes through this at some point, participants can choose when they do so. This consists of these lessons:

  • Systems Thinking
  • First principles of knowledge work
  • Navigating complexity with Fast Feedback
  • Value streams
  • Factors for Effective Value Streams
  • Patterns as configurable elements.
Core concepts and practices

Most companies have challenges because they are not using all of these core concepts and practices. Learning these is often a great place to start. The following are the most important ones.

  • Identifying critical stakeholders
  • Agile budgeting and Lean Allocation
  • Having an intake process
  • Minimum Value Increments
  • Managing work in process
  • Planning across multiple value streams
  • Value Creation Sturctures
  • Agile Architecture
  • Business Architecture

 

 

Diagnosing your challenges and creating an improvement path

Amplio is designed to help you identify your problems before offering solutions. The Amplio GPS does this.

This segment shows you how to run a collaborative engagement to discern what your challenges are and how to solve them. 

Being an Effective Value Coach

The learning journey discusses much of the material in Being an Effective Value Coach: Leading by Creating Value. All participants receive a free copy of the book (on LeanPub). 

Micro lessons

As a leader and/or consultant you often need to interject small lessons. Several useful 2-10 minute lessons are part of the curriculum.

Creating Your Own Set of Materials to Use

Participants are able to use all of the PowerPoints used in the program as well as public presentations, license free while in the ACE Learning Journey.

There are currently over 1000 PowerPoints available to use license free while you are in the program. To assist in their use is a master catalog where you can specific which ones you want. They are being organized so that you can select which lessons you want and get a PowerPoint deck that contains your tailored curriculum.
